Selection Procedures

At ZOOM International Pvt. Ltd., we understand that successful manpower recruitment begins with selecting the right people. Our recruitment and selection process is designed to identify workers who have the required skills, experience, reliability, and attitude to meet the expectations of our international employers.

We follow a structured and transparent recruitment process and provide manpower only for countries and employment destinations approved by the Government of Nepal.

Our recruitment process generally follows these stages:

1. Candidate Search and Sourcing

We use multiple channels to identify suitable candidates based on the employer's manpower requirements.

Our recruitment team first searches our existing database for candidates whose qualifications, skills, and experience match the available positions. When a particular skill set or specialized experience is required, we use our professional network and recruitment resources to identify suitable candidates.

For larger or specialized recruitment requirements, we may also publish vacancies in leading national newspapers and through other appropriate recruitment channels. Our marketing and recruitment personnel are also informed about new demands so they can identify and coordinate suitable candidates.

2. Shortlisting

Once applications are received, our recruitment team reviews candidates based on the requirements provided by the employer.

Candidates are shortlisted by considering factors such as:

  • Educational qualifications
  • Professional and technical skills
  • Relevant work experience
  • Age and other job requirements
  • Language ability, where applicable
  • Physical suitability for the position
  • Overall suitability for the job

Only candidates who meet the basic requirements are invited to proceed to the next stage.

3. Interview

We arrange interviews according to the employer's requirements. Whenever possible, employers or their authorized representatives may visit Nepal to conduct direct and final interviews.

ZOOM International Pvt. Ltd. coordinates the entire interview process, including candidate communication, scheduling, venue preparation, documentation, and other necessary arrangements.

Our interview facilities are designed to provide a professional environment and include the basic resources required for interviews, such as computers, internet access, telephone facilities, and suitable interview rooms.

Where an overseas employer or recruiting agency authorizes us to conduct the selection process on its behalf, our experienced recruitment team conducts the interviews according to the employer's instructions and selection criteria.

4. Skill Test and Candidate Evaluation

For technical and skilled positions, practical ability is an important part of the selection process. Candidates may therefore be required to undergo skill tests relevant to their profession or trade.

Our selection team evaluates candidates based on their practical knowledge, technical ability, previous experience, and suitability for the specific position.

Depending on the job requirement, skill assessments may be conducted for occupations such as welders, electricians, mechanics, carpenters, masons, equipment operators, technicians, and other skilled trades.

Candidates who successfully meet the required standards are recommended for the next stage of recruitment.

5. Medical Examination

After final selection, candidates are required to undergo a medical examination as part of the overseas employment process.

We refer selected candidates to government-approved medical institutions or laboratories for the required examinations. Medical screening helps ensure that candidates meet the health requirements applicable to their employment and destination country.

Candidates who are medically fit proceed with the remaining recruitment and visa formalities, while those who do not meet the applicable medical requirements cannot proceed further.

6. Visa Processing and Endorsement

Visa procedures vary depending on the destination country and the requirements of the respective employer and authorities.

After the employer confirms the selected candidates, the necessary documents are coordinated with the overseas employer or recruiting partner. Once the required visa authorization or confirmation is received, the visa endorsement process is initiated through the appropriate embassy, consular office, or designated authority.

Our team coordinates the required documentation and follows up on the process to help ensure that the formalities are completed properly.

7. Contract and Documentation

Before departure, candidates are required to complete the necessary employment documentation and formalities.

We ensure that candidates receive and understand the relevant employment documents, including the applicable employment agreement or contract, and that the required government procedures are completed before they travel.

8. Travel and Departure Arrangements

Travel arrangements are made after the required recruitment, documentation, and approval procedures have been completed.

Before departure, we coordinate the necessary travel documents and provide candidates with information about their journey and destination.

Depending on the requirements of the employment process, candidates are provided with the necessary documents, which may include:

  • Passport
  • Air ticket
  • Employment contract
  • Visa-related documents
  • Government approval documents
  • Other required travel and employment papers

Our team also provides basic pre-departure guidance so that workers are familiar with the travel process, destination, employment conditions, and important responsibilities before leaving Nepal.

9. Post-Departure Coordination

Our responsibility does not end simply when a worker leaves Nepal. We aim to maintain communication with our overseas employers and recruitment partners and support coordination when necessary.

Our objective throughout the recruitment process is to make overseas employment organized, transparent, and professionally managed, while helping employers receive suitable manpower and helping Nepali workers access legitimate employment opportunities abroad.
